Dr. Santosh Kumar finished his Post Graduation in Urology at the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore India in 2002. He had been a bright and meritorious student and has received many prizes and won quizzes during his graduate and post graduate training. He was awarded the title of Professor in 2009 and Senior Professor in 2023. He was selected for the Chakraborty fellowship by the Indian American Urological Association for the year 2008 which he completed at Mayo Clinic, Rochester and Cleveland Clinic, Ohio USA. He worked at National University Hospital, Singapore as a Visiting Expert – Consultant from 2010 – 2013. He was awarded Specialist Accreditation in Urology by Ministry of Health Singapore in February 2012. He was also the Associate Editor of the Indian Journal of Urology from 2005 to 2021. He is a rare skilled surgeon who is equally at ease with Robotic, laparoscopic, endoscopic, open and microvascular surgery for the whole spectrum of urological diseases. He has a keen interest in clinical research and has over 70 publications in national and international. He has trained over 100 postgraduates and is an examiner at various national and international Universities for M. Ch and DNB urology courses.
